If you could hold
standard HO scale slot car racing in your right hand, HO scale Truck
and Tractor
pulling would most likely be somewhere to your left... at the end of a
10'
stick!!! Other than scale, and the fact both slot race cars and slot
pullers
run on the same track, the differences are like night and day.
Speed, control, and
center of gravity hold very little value in HO pulling. Power (gearing)
and balance (weight transfer) are the names of the game. In addition,
HO
Truck and Tractor pulling is one instance where a working knowledge of
the
actual sport is not only an asset, but required to succeed.
