But just what is HOMTPA?
        HOMTPA is many things to many people:

                *  A source for information on such unique vehicles / events

                *  A governing body to help unify event rules and regulations

                *  A contact point for finding other competitors (ask about our National
                   Cross Race series)

and much more!!!

        But what of the main purpose behind HOMTPA?  That's simple....FUN!!!

        Made up of individual H.O. enthusiasts, groups and clubs dedicated in further expanding the world of H.O. scale racing as a hobby sport, HOMTPA has been specifically designed as a non-interfering, non-profit organization.
 
        As non-interfering, while HOMTPA exist through many H.O. clubs nation- wide, each individual group is left open to modify rules and regulations to suit its members. Even when 'cross racing', the only requirement is that all members run the same rules WITHIN their  own club boundaries.

        As non-profit, there are NO membership or charter dues or fees. Further, HOMTPA clubs are not permitted to charge any fee for service, shows or exhibitions (it is permitted individual clubs to collect dues or race fees to aid in offsetting internal costs for awards and/or maintenance ONLY).

        As can be seen (and as stated), HOMTPA is a very unique organization designed strictly for FUN!!!
